Crowd Surfing explores the idea of performance and the various masks we wear to navigate our lives. Peeples' distorted figures reference the caricatures she grew up around in Orlando, where her sister was a child actress in the city's amusement parks. Through her work, the artist examines the difficulty of connecting with others in an age when technology dominates our world.
